System Design for South Boats IOW




1.      FuelFlex Gateway connects directly to MAN engines or MTU engines
2.      Special cable will be used to connect to Electronic Control Module
3.      Since most of the vessels are Aluminum vessels, therefor, an isolated data repeater is used. We have several projects on Aluminum Vessels, and lack of grounding system generates data error/unreliable and hardware malfunctioning.
4.      FuelFlex Gateway, a preconfigured engine monitoring solution, up to 400 parameters available depends on engine types & brands. It can poll parameters about 20-60 parameters per second.
5.      FuelFlex Gateway is C-UL approved for Class I Div II Groups A-D locations.
6.      It will send data to TDS server through BlueTraker hybrid terminal. Hybrid terminal provides low cost reliable data communication. It will automatically select GPRS connection and send engine monitoring data rather than using costly satellite connection.
7.      From TDS Server, MyFuelFlex.com web application will take data and present to end user in suitable & customised format.
8.      FuelFlex gateway can also provide engine performance data to a 3rd party application such as TeroMarine (TM2 Maintenance & Inventory module). It can generate engine performance indicator as well as maintenance activities or alarms.
9.      Additional Mass Flow Meters can be used for more precise and accurate engine fuel consumption.
